Let’s write our love in hieroglyphics
Encoded in the unknown languages of the Arabians
Sheathed in Aramaic scrolls
Buried in the lost cities of Mesopotamia
And wrap it all up in Eden
Known to no man but us
He says

No, let’s write our love in the language of love
Discoverable by every discerning mind
Let’s expose it like the 12th of June
With so much splendour like the 4th of July
For, if we can’t love more than once
Let’s let the CATS out of the bag
Let’s be everybody’s favourite lovers
Our smile, a household brand
Let’s be deeply in love
And glaringly in love

But if we can’t reach these heights
Let’s love like it’s our last
Without a care in the world&n
Let’s damn all consequences
Showing each other what the world can’t see
And whether in Hieroglyphics or Ghujarati
Let’s speak the language of our love
Switching between Mandarin and Javanese
Telugu today, Marathi tomorrow
Let me be your everything and you mine
I’ll call you in Bojupri
You responding in Amhari
While I call you
Sete Paye
